I miss being part of AIDS day, thank you for reminding me that it is, I will take a moment to think of those I know who have HIV and AIDS, and those who paid the price of 10 years of pretending it didn't exist. And those in Africa who paid the price for 30 years of pretending if North America didn't have it, it didn't matter. Life matters.

Yes, and the denial continues, with underreporting of AIDS/HIV in communities in the US as well.
