A female wheelchair user describes a scene wherein she witnessed a homeless man beaten by security guards until police arrived...and her spiritual reaction to it...

She was very brave and did the right thing. This story shows how we put our energies in the wrong direction. Beating up on a homeless person doesn't fix anything. It's bullying and intolerant.
How ironic that a woman in a wheelchair broke up the fight. I have felt moments away from being homeless just trying to find accessible housing. Maybe that's why we disabled have a special place in our heart for the homeless. It could so easily happen to us.
