Nava's Story: First Ventilated Quad to Sail Alone

Freedom Waters Foundation presents this story, originally aired on the Austrailian television program "A Current Affair", of Nava George. Nava is the first quadriplegic person to sail alone. With some training, and a special boat, Nava is able to explore a newly found freedom, sailing by herself.

I don't know how old this video is, but she's not the first person I've seen in a video who is a ventilated quad sailing a boat. The first time I saw one was in mid-2009, not long after Hilary Lister (who is a non-SCI, non-vent quad) did her round-Britain sail. Maybe she's the first in Australia though.
(BTW: the verification word says "hoiste". Kind of relevant.)
This video was originally filmed in 2000. Nava was 20 then, she is now 32. Hence she is the first ventilated quad to have sailed alone.
