SugarSync allows computer users to replicate files - even across Mac and Windows platforms -that Meredith alerted me to and here's a WSJ article about it.
Not only does SugarSync place the latest version of every file you designate for syncing on all your chosen computers, but it also creates an archive of these files on a special, password-protected Web page. That way, you can access the latest version of any file even when you are at a public or borrowed computer that lacks the SugarSync software
It's not free, but check it out because the time you save (or someone else's time who you are paying), may compensate for that pretty quickly. For example the lowest storage amount only costs $25 annually. Since it doubles as a backup, that's not a bad deal.

It is free for a huge wad o' space which is fine if you don't have a whole lot of stuff to save. I'm loving SugarSync! In fact, I'm away from my office and using it right now in a conference room.
Yeah sounds like a great way to save time backing up files with all the changes that get made in my work! The video over at the link explains it well too. Thanks for the tip!
