That's funny. When I was a hospital social worker, I tried out a lot of the things that patients had to use. I found out that crutches are impossible, wheel chairs are tiring to use and (at least the public-issue ones) not maneuverable. (I also found that the little teensy feeding tubes that go through the nose create a tremendous sore throat...)
Anyway, it's fun to see folks have the experience.
Those heavy medical chairs are the ones I write about when I talk about insurance companies offering 30 pound or over chairs to people who need the ultra lightweight ones. They really aren't made for using outside or to be pushed by someone who needs one when you watch people struggle with them - and it's pretty obvious! Glad you like the new look - thanks!
