Perils for Pedestrians: Sidewalks and the ADA


Episode 138 of Perils for Pedestrian covers a subject dear to my heart as a wheelchair user: sidewalks.

Nice information! here in Cambridge, MA, the City actually has a sidewalk inspection and minor repair program that not only violates the ADA, but state safety code.

Three of the complaints I filed whit the Mass Arch Access Board will be held Monday Jan 7th. Wish me luck!

Thanks for the link . I can see the problems from the photos - also the snow removal /lack of same in the post below! Sidewalk issues are still on the front line of things that need to be addressed - in some ways barely touched in many places on issues of snow removal/compliance with law.
