Traumatic brain injury in vets...

..is discussed in this USA Today article. Medical experts indicate that they are treating TBI's which, in some cases, are presenting unlike conditions seen before.

Ruth,
I think your post was on the money. Most individuals do not realize what it's like to be a person with quadriplegia and how much energy it takes every day just to show up.
Just continue what you're doing completing all you can within your abilities.

We're developing a veterans resource center at the college where I teach. One of the things we're concerned about is the balance between privacy rights and appropriate accommodation for returning vets with TBI. We aren't really sure what we need to be ready for. Any info we get, helps.
