"School Controversy in Columbus"

Over at Planet of the Blind, Steve has written a post about the controversy over combining deaf and blind students in the same school. Some deaf advocates don't believe that deafness is a disability and are saying it is inappropriate to mix the two groups. I believe that Steve's post is a brilliant response on the subject from an educator who is well versed in disability issues and have forwarded it to many of my friends.
