I think this is beyond funny!! Good for him!! At least he didn't become a prisoner of his own image, the way Elvis did ;)
I'd imagine he found it to be a great blessing to be able to get away in nature without being recognized. How difficult it must be to remain spiritual AND have to deal with the limelight.
