Hmmmmmm. I'm torn between this being a great idea and the thought that all that pager buzzing would be very disturbing to someone who's possibly trying to sleep or relax. I think the benefits would outway any negatives, though, and provide a moment of positive thoughts to lift the person's spirits. God is always near, but knowing someone is praying for you right that moment is bound to make Him feel more tangible.
