Besides being a drop-off AND distribution location, they are also allowing people to do up to 2 loads of laundry (per family), each day.

They prove access to WIFI, showers, and will gladly charge computers, phones, etc., between the hours of 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Mon. thru Fri.

To volunteer for services either at the Hall, or elsewhere in the town, visit between the hours of 9AM – 7PM (curfew).

Call to find out what the latest needs are, as far as donations. On November 11th, the town posted a need for large amounts of shovels, rakes, gloves, and traffic vests.

The town recently requested pry-bars, work gloves, hard rakes and shovels.

The Rainbow Family’s Super Storm Sandy Rapid Response Kitchen (in partnership with Organic Valley) is set up at the Union Beach Station. They are said to be offering hot meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, 7 days a week, since November 6. They’re even serving FEMA workers!

As of November 12, Union Beach’s Internet site, (http://www.unionbeach.net/), reported that they currently do not need any food supply donations. Call to see if that’s changed
