I saw this piece today about Japanese team members consoling the French team at the Olympics.
It reminded me of years ago, when I played a doubles wheelchair tennis match against players from Japan. We exchanged gifts after the match as well as hugs. Noticing their excitement about Disneyland, I gave them lots of Mickey Mouse souvenirs.
They gave me Paralympic pins.
True sportsmanship.
