Yet another email from a Catholic on wheels whose local parishes all lack access. So sad. Every time I hear about folks who want to go to Mass but can't get inside, I say a prayer that some day our institutions will reflect the true Body of Christ and include all.

It is horrifying.
And, naive me, surprising. All the parishes in my area have a minimum of accessibility. Not always perfect, but you could hear mass, for certain. Though you'd be out of luck if you were Deaf, no translated masses. So I guess we aren't that great either. Ticks me off.
