In this video, Wheelchair Kamikaze, our host of past NY tours, goes in search of the Spirit of Audrey Hepburn statue in New York. However, he winds up spending quite a bit of his ride through NY city looking for curb cuts and facing some mighty big trucks head on....

I love these videos. This is archetypical NYC and I love the running commentary. I tend to think curb cuts or the lack thereof are a neighborhood phenomenon. The Upper West Side is great, the area around the U.N and Midtown in general is hit and miss. I often go long distances in my wheelchair in the city and often find myself in the street. Only once did I ever get worried, a bus almost hit me, but I was saved by a Michel Barsishnikov (excuse the spelling) who flagged down the bus driver for me. Onl in NY does this happen.
Bill - it's true! NY is a unique place :)
Baryshnikov? Drool...
Kamikaze's videos are great.
Frida-
I saw Baryshnikov dance in Detroit - with binoculars :)
