...a true story from an aquarium.
And yesterday my laptop adapter cord got crunched between the metal jaws of my reclining apparatus. It's quite mangled indeed, so I ordered a new one and am using a backup to post.
I had no idea there was so much inside an adapter cord. It was a bit of a science lesson, albeit an expensive one.
So as long as this is science day at Wheelie Catholic, I might as well tell you that I also got my new gadget, which is leading me to conduct testing of all kinds. Whenever I get a new piece of equipment, there's a learning curve, especially if I haven't had one before.
This is why I think people with disabilities tend to be very resourceful - in general. Not only do pwd adjust to environments that are often not suitable to their physical bodies but use devices that need figuring out. About 3 am I decided that the set up I was using needed tweaking and, most importantly, I need more lighting. But with the right set up, all will be well.
I do wish some of these devices came with a lab coat though. And a head lamp. That would be cool too.
