Lady Vols continue their SEC tournament run
The Lady Vols won against Florida last night in another exciting SEC tournament game, where Angie Bjorklund scored 25 points. The team advanced to the semifinals and will play number one seeded Auburn this evening.
Pat Summitt continues to wear orange and has vowed to stay in orange until the team loses. She is shown at left in an orange pantsuit with a white blouse, directing the team from the sidelines and pointing with her left arm.
In other tournament news, Latear Eason of LSU suffered a neck injury and was taken to the hospital for xrays. She apparently had movement, but was in a great deal of pain after falling backwards onto the court. It appeared another player may have inadvertently stepped on her neck.
LSU beat Mississippi State and advanced to play Vanderbilt tonight.
The Big East women's basketball tournament is also taking place in Hartford, Connecticut this weekend. Rutgers plays tonight at 6pm. A tournament guide can be found here.
