A wheelchair excursion through the Upper West Side

I thoroughly enjoyed this narrated wheelchair excursion which was full of good humor and hope you do too.

Curb cuts that aren't level with the ground are just painful. If the bagel shop had unlocked both doors, he could have got in--this happens all the time, and it's not like you can get in to tell them.

At 8:45ish--those kinds of curbcuts and others that aren't at the intersection scare me because drivers don't get why you're not just climbing the curb and proceed anyway. Scary!

And people who won't let you pass, like the one woman with the family--that's just aggressive.

Sarah and Greg- Glad you liked the video. I'm looking forward to more.

Frida- As for the double doors- I find those very difficult, especially in one store here where they have a narrow double door, then you have to make a sharp left turn to get into yet another door. I almost have to ask people to do "synchronized door holding" - one wrong move and we take out an able bodied door holder!

When he was at the cross road, he told something I usually say when I am waiting in a queue:
"The fat guy with the shorts the really bad thing, model in sundress good!" :)
This video gave me the idea to make something similar, but I 'm not sure I will manage it on the greek pavements!
