This article from twincities.com about congregations that are including kids with disabilities came through the list serv on NJCIM.
Some congregations include some people with disabilities some of the time. Some have an annual service for people with disabilities. There are congregations that thrive with members with disabilities.

we are working on it at my church. our first baby steps is Parents of Children with special needs support group which I am leading. the next step will one day be a full ministry. one day...
