As of July 1, 2008, the NOD Religion and Disability Program (R&DP) will be transferred to the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD). Ginny Thornburgh, who has directed the R&DP for over nineteen years, will direct the program to be known as the AAPD Interfaith Initiative serving people with disabilities, their families, congregations, seminaries, and denominational and faith groups.
During the summer of transition, the R&DP website and its features will transfer to AAPD.
