Passover starts this week....
...and I wish my Jewish friends happiness on Passover and always!
Holy Week , the last week in Lent, immediately precedes Easter Sunday. Catholics commemorate and enact the suffering (Passion) and death of Jesus through various observances and services . In Catholic tradition, the conclusion to the week is called the Easter Triduum, three days of special prayer and observance.
Many are now also celebrating a Christian version of the Passover Seder.
Meredith Gould has written a book entitled Come to the Table: A Catholic Passover Seder for Holy Week which deals with the why and hows of celebrating the Passover Seder as part of our faith. You can find her book in my sidebar to the right or by clicking above.
