Meals on Wheels programs in bumpy times
Rising gas costs are adding to their problems since volunteers are fewer and far between. The programs also need donations. Please read the above article if you can help.

My Mama and Daddy, and my FIL all benefited from Meals on Wheels in our area. It's a wonderful service that would be a real loss to the elderly and disabled community, if it lost funding. We have contributed over and beyond what we've been asked to pay for the meals on several occasions, in recognition of their wonderful benefit to us.
