Your information is where? ..caregiving issue....

Read this article called Taking Passwords to the Grave. It spoke of the increased use of computers by the elderly (and all of us) and how after someone dies, relatives or friends cannot get at valuable information since passwords will not be given out - even after the person is deceased.

Think about it - how would this affect your loved ones or caregivers? Do you need to make a hard copy version of your online information for them in case you get sick or are unavailable?

This would be easy to do with FireFox. All your user ID and password information are kept in Tools/Options/Privacy/Passwords. You can check to have the passwords displayed and do a PrintScreen. Then Paste into Paint and Print. If you have a lot of passwords, you may have to scroll and do this several times to get the whole list. This would be invaluable in case of a computer crash, too. Hmmmm. I think I'd better take my own advice and do this today, myself.

I voted for you today on BLOG VILLAGE.
