I found it strange tha...Pretty revolting incident. I found it strange that the commentators continually assured the viewers that Gov. Paterson "can take a joke" and that he "makes fun of his own blindness at times." This, to me, signals able-bodied anxiety over PWDs and disability in general. I did, however, think that there was a mixed effort to thoughtfully explain why this is an issue: when making fun of Paterson SNL was doing more than making fun of one man -- which is cruel enough -- but they are attacking an entire swath of society.
